EQE Pre-Exam 2013 (The Netherlands)

Candidates from The Netherlands and surrounding areas who intend to take the Main-EQE in 2014, must take and pass the Pre-Exam first in 2013. This Pre-Exam will only be held once a year at the same time of the Main-Exam, they should start preparing and studying in 2012. Trainee patent attorneys with 2 years of work experience at the time of the Pre-Exam can sit this exam

With the introduction of this Pre-Exam the training program for candidates from The Netherlands and surrounding areas has changed. Candidates will follow a 2-year path now: in the first year they prepare for the Pre-Exam and in the second year for the Main-Exam. Detailed information about the path, candidates will have to follow, starting in 2012, can be found in the brochures in the opposite column.

The Pre-Exam comprises legal (D) and claim interpretation (A/B) elements. The Pre-Exam Training for candidates in the Dutch region is divided in two modules: a comprehensive legal training and an exam-oriented (or methodology) training.
