Before joining the IP profession in 2007, Jessica worked for several years as a research associate and assistant professor in academic research (Imperial College London, TU Eindhoven) focusing on photovoltaic materials and devices. Jessica qualified as a Dutch and European patent attorney in 2010 while working for a private practice IP firm, mainly serving clients in the food, feed and dairy industry. Subsequently, she spent three years working as in-house patent attorney for an oil & gas multinational. Jessica joined DeltaPatents in 2018 and now combines patent attorney work (drafting, prosecution, consultancy) with tutoring. Jessica is based in DeltaPatents’ Leiden office.
