Teaching
Roel is a senior tutor in teaching patent law (EPC, PCT) and preparing candidates for the EQE, in particular for the legal parts of the Pre-Exam and for Paper D.
Career
Roel worked as research scientists and system architect at Philips Research (optical recording, display systems/ image processing), Philips Semiconductors and Philips Lighting for over 11 years, and switched career in 2007 to become a Dutch and European patent attorney. Roel started working at DeltaPatents in 2011 and now combines patent attorney work (drafting, prosecution, consultancy) with teaching.
